Hi, my name is Emily and I’d like to welcome you to my website. I’ve always enjoyed writing and painting pictures, so I decided it was time to share some of the things I’ve created with others. You’ll find my line of greeting cards, art prints, and eBooks right here. But this website isn’t just about me, it’s about everyone who comes here, too.

I’d like everyone who visits Emilytalksabout.com to not only look at what I’ve made, but to share their ideas and thoughts here, too. Emilytalksabout.com is also about relaxation, enjoyment, and making new friends. I hope all of you will return often to see new things I’ve made, and to catch up with one another. Because I’m also interested in what you are up to in your life, I’m thinking of adding a visitor gallery, so please let me know whether you think this is a good idea.

Starting my own website wasn’t entirely my idea, I have to thank my boyfriend, Brad, for really getting me going on this project. He’s always liked the artwork I do, and when I started selling my cards in my yarn shop, he thought they deserved a wider audience. I was a little worried about doing it, but with the encouragement I got from Brad and from my family, I did manage to make this website myself. It took a lot of trial and error, but I think I finally got it right. Or at least, right enough.
